Cleaning and Maintenance

Monitor unit

• Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water — never use alcohol, solvents, or abrasive cleaners.
• Clean the LCD screen with a microfibre cloth. Do not press hard on the display surface.
• Keep the air tube port free of dust. If debris is visible, use a dry cotton bud to gently clear the opening.
• Do not immerse the monitor in water or expose it to direct moisture.

Cuff care

• The outer fabric sleeve can be wiped with a damp cloth and mild soap. Allow to air dry completely before use.
• Do not machine wash, tumble dry, or iron the cuff.
• Do not fold or crease the cuff sharply — roll it loosely for storage.
• Inspect the cuff bladder every 6 months by inflating the cuff (run a test with the cuff not on the arm). If inflation is uneven or slow, replace the bladder (MV-VM1-BLADDER) or the complete cuff assembly (MV-VM1-SP-CUFF).

Battery maintenance

• Replace all four AA batteries at the same time. Do not mix battery brands, types, or charge levels.
• Remove batteries if the monitor will not be used for more than 3 months to prevent leakage.
• When using USB-C power continuously, batteries are not required and can be removed.

Accuracy verification

The VitaCheck M1 is calibrated at the factory and does not require routine recalibration under normal home use. For clinical or professional use, Monverta recommends verifying accuracy every 12 months using the Calibration Check Kit (MV-VM1-CAL). Connect the T-piece between the monitor and a certified reference sphygmomanometer to compare readings.

Storage

• Store in the included pouch or the optional hard carry case (MV-VM1-CASE).
• Avoid temperatures below 0°C or above 50°C.
• Avoid high humidity (above 85% RH) and direct sunlight.
