Replacing the HEPA H13 Filter

The AirCore P2 uses a cylindrical HEPA H13 filter to capture 99.97% of airborne particles down to 0.3 microns. Monverta recommends replacing the filter every 12 months, or sooner if the app indicates filter life has reached 0%. This guide walks you through the swap.

What you'll need

• Replacement HEPA H13 filter — part number MV-ACP2-HEPA
• A flat, clean surface to work on

Steps

1. Power off the unit. Unplug the AirCore P2 from its power source. Never attempt to open the filter housing while the unit is running.
2. Twist the base anti-clockwise. Grip the base housing firmly and rotate it about 30 degrees anti-clockwise until you feel it release.
3. Pull the base housing down to remove it. The housing will slide off the bottom of the unit, exposing the cylindrical HEPA filter inside.
4. Slide out the old filter. Gently pull the used HEPA filter downward and out of the unit. Dispose of it with your normal household waste.
5. Insert the new filter with the arrow pointing up. The replacement filter has a directional arrow printed on its side. Align this arrow upward and slide the filter into the housing until it seats fully.
6. Replace the base housing. Slide the housing back onto the bottom of the unit.
7. Twist clockwise to lock. Rotate the base housing clockwise until you hear a click, confirming it is securely locked.

Tips

• After replacing the filter, open the Monverta app and reset the filter life counter under Device Settings to get accurate replacement reminders.
• Store spare filters in their sealed packaging until ready to use — exposure to air reduces activated carbon effectiveness over time.
• If the housing feels stiff to twist, check that the unit is on a non-slip surface and grip closer to the base edge.
