Replacing the Roller Brush

What You Need

Steps

  1. Power off the unit completely — press and hold the power button until the lights go out.
  2. Lay the unit flat on a towel with the roller head facing upward so you can access the underside of the cleaning head.
  3. Locate the release tab on the underside of the head. Press it firmly inward — you will feel it disengage.
  4. Pull the old roller straight out from the housing channel. Dispose of it or set aside for cleaning if reusing.
  5. Take the new roller (MV-ADS1-ROLLER) and align the keyed end with the drive slot on the right side of the housing.
  6. Slide the roller in until you hear a definitive click — this confirms the roller is locked in place.
  7. Stand the unit upright and power on. Run a short test on a small floor area to confirm the roller spins freely and picks up water correctly.

Tips

Replace the roller every 6 to 12 months depending on usage. If the roller feels stiff or the fabric is visibly matted after cleaning, it is time for a new one. Always use genuine Monverta rollers to ensure correct fit and water absorption.
