How to Store After Use

Proper storage after each cleaning session prevents odours, mould, and premature wear. Follow these steps every time you finish using your AquaDry S1.

After Every Use

1. Run a self-clean cycle before storing. Return the unit to the dock and press the Self-Clean button — this flushes the roller and internal channels automatically.
2. Once the self-clean cycle completes, remove the dirty water tank. Empty it into a sink and rinse thoroughly under running water.
3. Empty the clean water tank as well. Do not leave standing water in either tank between uses — stale water causes odour and can encourage bacteria growth.
4. Place the unit back in the dock in the upright position. The dock holds the unit securely and keeps the roller elevated off the floor.
5. Leave the dirty water tank cap off to allow air to circulate and the interior to dry fully.

Long-term Storage (1 week or more)

1. Complete all the steps above for after-use storage.
2. Remove the roller brush from the unit. Rinse it under warm water, squeeze out excess moisture, and allow it to air dry completely — at least 24 hours.
3. Wipe down the roller housing channel inside the cleaning head with a dry cloth to remove any residual moisture.
4. Ensure both water tanks are bone dry. Leave caps off for a day before sealing for storage.
5. Store the unit upright in its dock in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not store in a damp cupboard or garage.
