Battery Replacement Guide

What You Need

Steps

  1. Power off the CleanLift A9 by pressing and holding the power button until the LED turns off.
  2. Hold the handle with one hand. With your other hand, locate the slide-release on the rear of the handle — it is a textured slider about two-thirds of the way down.
  3. Push the slide-release downward and hold it. The battery pack will unlock from the handle body.
  4. While holding the slide-release, pull the battery straight down and out of the handle. Set the old battery aside.
  5. Take the new battery (MV-CLA9-BATT) and align the guide rails with the slots inside the handle. Slide the battery upward until you hear a firm click — this confirms the latch has engaged.
  6. Charge the new battery fully before first use. Place the unit in the wall dock or connect the charger directly. A full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours — the LED will turn solid green when complete.

Tips

Always charge a new battery fully before its first use — this calibrates the battery management system and ensures accurate charge level reporting. Store spare batteries in a cool, dry place and avoid leaving them fully discharged for extended periods.
