How to Clean the Filter
What You Need

Steps
- Power off the CleanLift A9 completely and detach from the wand if connected.
- Locate the pre-motor filter at the top of the main body. Press the filter release button and twist the filter housing anti-clockwise to unlock.
- Pull the pre-motor filter straight out of the housing.
- Tap the filter firmly over a bin to dislodge loose dust and debris. This removes the bulk of dry particulate before washing.
- Rinse the filter under warm running water. Gently massage the pleats to work out embedded dust. Continue until the water runs clear.
- Shake off excess water and leave the filter to air dry for a full 24 hours. Stand it upright in a well-ventilated area — do not place near direct heat.
- Once completely dry, reinsert the filter into the housing, twist clockwise until it locks, and confirm it clicks into place.
Tips
Never use detergent, soap, or any cleaning product on the filter — it damages the fibres and reduces filtration efficiency. Do not put the filter in a dishwasher or tumble dryer. Clean the filter at least once a month, and replace it entirely every 12 months for optimal suction and air quality.
