First Use Checklist

Before cooking with your new Oven Studio 800 for the first time, follow this checklist to prepare the cavity, burn off manufacturing residues and register your product for warranty coverage.

Steps

1. Remove all packaging from inside the oven. Open the door and take out any cardboard inserts, foam spacers, cable ties securing the shelves, and the accessory box. Check the cavity floor and rear wall for any remaining tape or film.
2. Wipe the interior with a damp cloth. Use a soft cloth dampened with warm water to wipe down all interior surfaces — the cavity walls, floor, ceiling and the inside of the door glass. Do not use detergent at this stage.
3. Run the oven empty at 200°C for 30 minutes. Close the door, set the oven to fan-assisted mode at 200°C and let it run for 30 minutes with nothing inside. This burns off manufacturing oils and residues from the heating elements and cavity coating. Expect a mild smell and some light haze — this is normal and harmless.
4. Let the oven cool completely. Switch off the oven and leave the door closed until the temperature drops below 50°C. The cooling fan will run automatically during this period.
5. Wipe the interior again. Once cool, wipe down the cavity once more with a clean damp cloth to remove any loosened residue.
6. Register your product. Visit register.monverta.com or scan the QR code on the rear of the unit. You will need the model number and serial number from the rating plate inside the door frame.
