How to Replace the Side Rails

What you need

• Replacement side rails or telescopic upgrade kit (part number MV-OS-RAILS)

The Oven Studio 800 has removable side rails held in place by spring clips at three height positions on each side of the cavity. No tools are required for this job.

Steps

1. Open the door fully and remove all shelves, trays and accessories from the oven cavity.
2. Locate the rail clips. Each side rail is secured by 3 spring clips — one at the top, one in the middle and one at the bottom of the rail. The clips are small metal tabs pressed into slots in the cavity wall.
3. Push each clip inward and pull the rail forward. Starting from the top clip, press it firmly toward the cavity wall with your thumb. While holding the clip in, pull the top of the rail toward you. Repeat for the middle and bottom clips — the rail will slide free.
4. Slide the new rail in until the clips snap. Align the new rail (or telescopic upgrade) with the three slot positions. Push the rail firmly against the cavity wall until you hear all three clips snap into place. Tug gently to confirm it is secure.
5. Repeat on the opposite side. Both rails should be replaced as a pair to ensure even shelf support.
