Step 1: Charge before first use

The battery is partially charged from the factory but requires a full charge before first use. Attach the A9 to the charging dock or plug the USB-C cable directly into the base of the handle. A full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours. The LED ring on the handle glows amber while charging and turns solid white when complete.

Step 2: Mount the charging dock

Choose a wall location accessible from your main cleaning area, ideally in a utility room or hallway. Fix the dock bracket to the wall using the supplied screws and anchors. Feed the power cable through the cable clip. Hang the A9 on the dock to confirm alignment.

Step 3: Attach the floorhead

Align the direct-drive floorhead connector with the wand end and push firmly until the release button pops up. Give it a slight tug to confirm it is locked. Floorhead attachment and release can be done one-handed.

Step 4: Your first clean

Press the power button once for standard mode, twice for boost mode. Begin with hard floors using the soft roller setting; slide the selector on the floorhead to the brush roll setting for carpet. The LED at the front of the floorhead illuminates hidden dust and debris.

Step 5: Empty the dustbin

The dustbin capacity is 0.5 L. When the fill indicator on the body reaches maximum, hold the A9 over a bin and press the red release tab. The base opens and debris drops cleanly. Rinse the bin with cold water monthly and allow to dry fully before reattaching.

Tips

• Boost mode reduces runtime to approximately 8 minutes. Use it for targeted spots, not whole-floor passes.
• The filter requires washing every 30 days. Do not run the machine with a wet filter.
• A9 is compatible with all Monverta accessory tools — connect them directly to the wand or via the short flexible hose (sold separately).
