Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi
Symptoms
- Wi-Fi indicator on the display panel blinks but never goes solid
- Monverta Home app cannot find the device during setup
- Device was connected previously but shows offline in the app
- Setup process completes in the app but the device remains unresponsive
Likely Causes
- The P2 only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi — connection to a 5 GHz band will fail silently
- The router is out of range or has a weak signal at the unit's location
- The router has a MAC address filter or device limit that is blocking the P2
- The Monverta Home app is outdated
- A network change (new router, new password) has invalidated the stored credentials
Step-by-step Fix
- Confirm your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz network during setup — the P2 uses the network your phone is connected to at the moment of pairing. If your router combines 2.4 and 5 GHz under one name, temporarily separate the bands in your router settings.
- Move the P2 to within 3 m of your router for the initial setup. Once connected, move it to its intended location — the unit will maintain the connection.
- Update the Monverta Home app to the latest version. Open the app store, search for Monverta Home, and confirm you have the current release.
- In the app, go to Devices > AirCore P2 > Remove Device. Then re-add using Add Device. This clears any corrupt pairing data.
- If the problem persists, perform a Wi-Fi reset on the P2: press and hold the Wi-Fi button (rear, below the filter panel) for 6 seconds until the Wi-Fi indicator blinks rapidly. Run the app setup again from the beginning.
