Water Leaking from the Machine

Symptoms

• Water visible on the floor beneath or behind the unit during use
• The machine leaves more water than expected — soaking rather than washing
• Water drips when the machine is stationary
• Leak occurs when the machine is docked and self-cleaning

Likely Causes

1. Clean water tank is overfilled above the MAX line
2. Tank is not correctly seated — seal not engaged
3. Roller housing seal is worn or has debris caught across it
4. The dirty water tank is full and overflowing
5. The unit was tilted or inverted during transport or storage, displacing water

Step-by-step Fix

1. Switch the machine off and place it upright on a dry surface. Check the dirty water tank level. If it has reached capacity, empty it immediately — the machine's overflow protection should have stopped dispensing, but a full tank can still spill if the unit is tilted.
2. Remove the clean water tank and check the fill level. Water should reach the MAX line but not exceed it. Tip out any excess.
3. Reseat the clean water tank firmly — press until you feel and hear the locking tab engage. Give it a gentle tug to confirm it is seated.
4. Remove the roller and inspect the rubber seal at the base of the roller housing. Run a finger around the seal to check for debris trapped across it. Clean the seal surface with a damp cloth.
5. Run a test pass on a dry section of floor and observe where the water originates.
