Low or Weak Pressure
Symptoms
- Water flows but without noticeable jet pressure
- Pressure feels significantly lower than during previous use
- Machine motor runs but output seems like a garden hose
- Pressure drops progressively during use
Likely Causes
- Inlet water supply is partially blocked or kinked
- Pressure dial is set too low
- Nozzle orifice is blocked with mineral deposits or debris
- The detergent nozzle is fitted instead of the pressure nozzle
- Water supply is insufficient — tap pressure or flow rate too low
- Inlet filter screen is clogged
Step-by-step Fix
- Check the pressure dial on the unit body and turn it fully clockwise for maximum output.
- Confirm the correct nozzle is fitted. The black detergent nozzle (marked with a D) produces a low-pressure fan specifically for soap application — replace it with the rotary or fan nozzle for high-pressure work.
- Inspect the garden hose between the tap and the unit. Straighten any kinks and confirm the tap is fully open.
- Switch off the unit and disconnect the inlet hose. Look into the inlet port and locate the small mesh filter screen. Remove it with a pin, rinse under a tap, and reinsert.
- Remove the fitted nozzle and inspect the orifice for debris. Flush it by inserting a fine needle or the included clearing pin to dislodge blockages, then rinse under running water.
- Reconnect and retest at maximum pressure.
Still not working?
If pressure remains low after clearing the nozzle and filter, the pump may have an internal fault. Do not attempt to open the pump housing. Contact support at support.monverta.com/book-service.
