Official vs Non-Official Filters
The AirCore P2 is designed around precision-fit filter cartridges. While third-party filters exist, there are meaningful differences in fit, filtration performance, and support coverage. This article explains what to consider when choosing replacement filters.
Why use official Monverta filters
- Tested fit — official filters are manufactured to exact tolerances for the AirCore P2's cylindrical housing. An airtight seal prevents unfiltered air from bypassing the filter media.
- Certified filtration — the official HEPA H13 filter is independently tested and certified to capture 99.97% of particles at 0.3 micrometres. The carbon filter uses coconut-shell activated carbon for optimal VOC and odour absorption.

- Accurate filter life tracking — the Monverta app's filter life algorithm is calibrated for official filter media density. Third-party filters may exhaust faster or slower than the app predicts.

Warranty note
Using a non-official filter does not void your AirCore P2 warranty. Your unit remains covered for hardware defects regardless of which filter you use. However, Monverta cannot guarantee air purification performance when the unit is fitted with a third-party filter. If you contact support about poor air quality readings or reduced performance, the first troubleshooting step will be to install an official filter to rule out filter-related issues.
